MARCH 8TH CELEBRATION

Celebrating international women’s day.

Everyone in the men’s center put all of their best efforts together to make this day a memorable event for the women going through the program at Esther House as well as their volunteers. Everything from decorations, dinner, to the fellowship and church service program was taken care of.

The real highlight of the evening was the original theatrical production of the story of Esther from the Bible. This was a play that was scripted and acted out exclusively by the students on the men’s center (which included music and unique costume design).

Esther’s life in the Bible gives us a woman of great beauty, wisdom, courage and obedience that all Christians should strive for. Esther 4:9-16

This woman overstepped her own goals and ambitions; and was even willing to lay down her life to save others, which were doomed for destruction. May God bless each and every singe one of us to have the same type of zeal for the people perishing in the world all around us.

1 John 3:16-17
“By this we know love, that he laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers. But if anyone has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God’s love abide in him?”
